Mapping Mountains - Hill Reclassifications – Y Pedwarau

Moelfre (SO 121 759) - 400m Sub-Pedwar deletion

There has been a deletion of a 400m Sub-Pedwar through surveying with the Trimble GeoXH 6000.  The hill was only listed in this sub category as it has a 455m spot height on the area of the bwlch on the Ordnance Survey enlarged mapping hosted on the Geograph website when coupled with the 475m summit spot height it gave this hill minimum qualifying drop for Sub status of 20m.  The hill is Moelfre (SO 121 759) and it is situated in the Beacon Hill range.

The hill will be deleted from the Y Pedwarau list in the 2^nd edition that will hopefully be published by Europeaklist.  The list of Pedwar hills is also available from the Haroldstreet website.
